Special Projects
OmniMatter Pop-Up Shows
Mission Statement:
Art comes in different shapes, sizes, forms, and ideas. Art can be viewed in different spaces, lights, and trajectories. Art is viewed everywhere at any time! Why keep it in traditional galleries? As an artist, it is challenging to get your work out in the world to be seen, to be contemplated, to be loved, to be bought. OmniMatter is providing the platform for any and all artists who want to show their work but don’t know where or how. We are a grassroots art movement to do exactly that: move art! If you want to be seen, we want to shine the spotlight on you, if you want to be heard, we will hold the mic. OmniMatter will set the stage for you and your work to be featured. Once a month, the pop-up show will be in a different space somewhere in the Mankato community. A park, a garage, a local business seeking foot traffic, maybe even a barn! Each event is a one-time-only event in regards to time and place. Every month’s shows will include different artists at different locations.

Mission Statement:
(U-NAN-ON-Y-MOUS) Is a framework for creation based on the idea that a group of like-minded individuals can collaborate and exchange, near and far. That, perhaps, a group of friends might each have a friend who, through the degrees of separation, knows someone whose contributions may complement the ideas created by that core group. And, via the process of exchange, this largely anonymous, but unanimous group, generates a language and brings to fruition something greater.
